Last Sunday, Hally sang a beautiful song to mom in front of a packed church. The song was called Held by Natalie Grant. What an awesome voice! Click the play button to listen. “Held” performed by Hally Hagan
A video will be posted soon.
[lyrics]
Two months is too little
They let him go
They had no sudden healing
To think that providence
Would take a child from his mother
While she prays, is appalling
Who told us we’d be rescued
What has changed and
Why should we be saved from nightmares
We’re asking why this happens to us
Who have died to live, it’s unfair
This is what it means to be held
How it feels, when the sacred is torn from your life
And you survive
This is what it is to be loved and to know
That the promise was that when everything fell
We’d be held
This hand is bitterness
We want to taste it and
Let the hatred numb our sorrows
The wise hand opens slowly
To lilies of the valley and tomorrow
This is what it means to be held
How it feels, when the sacred is torn from your life
And you survive
This is what it is to be loved and to know
That the promise was that when everything fell
We’d be held
If hope is born of suffering
If this is only the beginning
Can we not wait, for one hour
Watching for our savior
This is what it means to be held
How it feels, when the sacred is torn from your life
And you survive
This is what it is to be loved and to know
That the promise was that when everything fell
We’d be held
[Repeat Chorus]

Hey Lori, thanks for leaving us the nice note. Just wondering how you found out about the website so fast? We’ll keep everyone updated on Kathy’s progress on this website. Tell Jeff that we will be thinking of him on Sunday morning. We know that he will be great! Keep her in your prayers and God bless you.

WOW…what a mighty God we serve! I had so planned to get out and visit Kathy, the time seems to go so fast as we are in town, and we had some of our IN folk that wanted to go to the mall…and God so ordained it…we were standing outside a store waiting for someone to check out and I looked up and there she was with her sis n law pushing her…TOTALLY GOD!!! Kathy, it was a true blessing to be able to see you…girlfriend you look great, a little tired, but so glad you are able to get out. Many prayers are continually being offered up for you, Wes, Ryne, Hally and your extended family! Keep taking great care of her…we will be back in town over Thanksgiving, hope to touch base then!

Kathy!
I just listened to your testimony and Hally’s song. I don’t think I ever really listened to the words of the song before, they are beautiful! I just wanted you to know that you are in my prayers…your whole family. Your story broke my heart and yet your testimony helped put it back together. God can/does reach us and blesses us when we allow him to. God bless you and your family!

Wes, Ryne, and Hally…
Know that you have been and will continue to be in the thoughts and prayers of me and Hannah. Kathy IS on the healing side of this and we WILL see her again. What a remarkable testimony she has left - Christ wants a personal relationship with each of us, now. God comfort you, cradle you, and may you know you are “Held” by the Only One who knows you better than you know yoruself.
